Out of 135 company wide licensed Salespersons and Admin, Kellie joins an elite list of 18 who also hold an Associate Broker license. What is the difference?

► Salesperson: Is typically the entry-level position in real estate. They work under the supervision of a licensed Broker. Many times Salespersons go on to earn other specialized designations.

► Broker: Have completed additional education and licensing requirements beyond those of a Salesperson. They have the authority to work independently and may run their own real estate brokerage firm. Brokers can also supervise Salespersons and Associate Brokers.

► Associate Broker: Chooses to work under the supervision of another Broker rather than operating their own brokerage. They have the same level of training and licensing as a Broker but may prefer the support or structure provided by another brokerage.

Though obtaining an Associate Broker license isn’t always necessary for all real estate professionals, it can offer various benefits in terms of career advancement, leadership opportunities, flexibility, and credibility within the industry. We are proud of Kellie Sergent!
